Kappa Gamma Delta
UC Berkeley’s Premier Pre-Health Sorority
Our Pillars
Sisterhood
Kappa Gamma Delta established itself as the first pre-health sorority in UC Berkeley in 2002. The sorority was formed with the intention to provide help and support for female college students going through the pre-health process. It has become a means for developing leadership and communication skills, while promoting individuality, unity, and diversity. We vow to uphold the values of sisterhood.
Professionalism
Kappa Gamma Delta is first and foremost an academic sorority. A strong emphasis is placed on the academic well-being of all its members. We strive to keep members informed about the broad range of opportunities for women in the healthcare field, from social services to brain surgery. We vow to support each other in professional development.
Service to Humanity
Keeping true to our motto, we consistently involve ourselves in community service projects. Additionally, in our effort to take part in educating other pre-health students in our campus community, Kappa Gamma Delta sponsors yearly events such as MCAT prep course panels and symposiums. Recent fundraisers have centered on donating to the BLM movement and COVID support. We vow to provide service to humanity.
